NurseTasks for Educators
Welcome to MomAdvocates
Hi, I'm Holly, a proud mother of two wonderful children and a loving wife. Together, we can navigate the beautiful, complex journey of motherhood, lifting each other up along the way.

My story

My professional background is in nursing, where I've spent years as a registered nurse specializing in Neurology and Mental Health. However, my true passion lies in advocating for maternal mental health—a passion born from my own experiences. I've faced postpartum depression not once, but twice. Those were some of the most challenging times of my life, filled with a whirlwind of emotions, including moments of profound despair and suicidal ideation. But through it all, I discovered an incredible resilience within myself. It was a messy, emotional journey, but it taught me the importance of mental health support for mothers. Driven by my experiences, I now dedicate my time to helping other mothers find their confidence, resilience, and joy. I volunteer for a warmline in Virginia and lead in-person support groups, providing a safe space for mothers to share and heal. Recognizing the need to reach more mothers, I founded MomAdvocates, a platform designed to extend support across all states.
